Features
This is a skyblock server that has been custom coded to provide a much improved and unique skyblocking experience. We have recently upgrade to a dedicated server with 150 slots and 32gb! If you get bored on your island there is plenty to do on the side.
Task system: Complete tasks as you develop your island to get rewards! /task or /t
Co-op system: Work alone or join with up to 3 other players on a single island. Work together to build your own massive island! /party invite [player]
SkyGrid with Factions: use /warp grid to go travel to the grid world and take part in a unique fusion of SkyGrid and factions.
Dungeons: Battle your way through different themed dungeons for a chance at great loot including skybucks, diamonds, spawn eggs, and rare enchanted tools and weapons!
Skybucks: A special currency earned from doing tasks, events, and other activities. Spend skybucks on special server features like titles, access to the creative and survival worlds, teleportation, and in the new item store! /skybucks buy
Grief Protection: Each island has its own protected worldguard region where only the owner and his party members can build. Lockette is provided to protect chests, and if any griefing does happen, you can easily ask a mod for help using the in-game petition system. Note: your party members have full access to your island, so it is your responsibility to only invite people you can trust!
Survival World with Factions: Take a break from skyblocking and travel through the green tube in spawn to the survival world, then join or create a faction! Note: it costs 250 skybucks to create a faction.
Creative World: Build anything you want to test or show off to others. People with cool stuff could have their work shown off in the spawn area.
PvP: use the /pvp command from anywhere to hop into a skyblock themed capture the flag warzone. Get rewarded with a special item that you can trade for skybucks.
Spleef: use the /spleef command from anywhere to join the spleef arena lobby. There must be a minimum of 2 people on each team to start the match. Get rewarded with a special item that you can trade for skybucks.
Note: All inventories in the survival world, creative world, and PvP are kept separate to keep the server balanced!
Rules
Breaking these rules will result in a warning or a ban (depending on the severity of the crime)
#1: No hacks / cheats / flying mods #2: Be respectful to other players. Dont spam chat or be rude. #3: Dont steal from other players and dont grief their island. #4: Dont beg for teleports, items, or special privileges. These things will only be given in extreme circumstances (at the admins discretion). #5: The Mods are here to keep the peace and deal with griefing. They will also answer questions related to server specific commands and features. They are forbidden from using their abilities to hand out freebies, so dont ask (see #4), and they are not your slaves!
Please see the punishment board in the server spawn for more information on rules and punishments.
Commands
/island - start a new island if you do not have one. Return to your island if you have one. /island restart - restart your island (use this if you already have an island and want to start again). /island tpset - set your island home point (where you teleport to when you use /island). /island info [player] - view information about a player's island including how developed their island is. /task - view the task menu (use /task [taskname] to see information about a certain task) /pvp - teleport to the pvp arena lobby /spleef - teleport to the spleef arena lobby /spawn - teleport to the spawn area /dungeon - teleport to the dungeon world /skybucks - see how many skybucks you have (use /skybucks buy to see what perks you can purchase) /party - see who is in your party and what party commands you can use. /pe open [problem] - send a request for help to a moderator /title - view and set unlocked titles (prefixes). Use /title 'titlename' to change it.
About the server
Please follow the white wool when you join the server and read all the signs as you go. At the end of the path you will find out what you need to do to become a member and start your island.
Every island has 100x100 blocks of ‘protected space’. PvP is turned off in this protected zone and only you (and any party members you have) can build/destroy blocks there. Make sure you use the sign in your chest to protect your chests contents (equip the sign and right click on the chest).
The server is designed to be a challenge! PvP is enabled outside of the island protected zones, and great rewards can be had by those brave enough to travel outside of their islands.
What to do if I have a problem?
If you have a problem you can use /pe create [problem description]. Please try to give as much detail as you can and a mod will help you as soon as possible.
Please watch this if this is your first time trying skyblock!
The Task System

Gain rare or otherwise unavailable resources by using the /task command in game. The tasks are separated into easy, medium, hard, and master. You must complete one tier of tasks to unlock the next tier (you have to do the easy tasks to unlock the medium tasks. Tasks are repeatable, but you get bonus items/skybucks the first time you complete them (and a message is displayed to the other online players so they can see how cool you are).
The Party System

To start a group you must have an island. The maximum number of people in a group is 4 You can then invite other people to join you using /party invite [playername] and they will be teleported to your island. Note: anyone that joins your group will be linked to your island and will have their island removed.
The group leader has complete control of the group. He can invite or remove people from the group. Anyone removed from a group will be removed from the island, drop all of their items, and be forced to start a new island or join a different group. A group leader can disband the group using /party leave They will keep control of the island and all other group members will be removed. A party leader can also transfer ownership of his party and island.
/party invite [playername] will invite someone to join your party (max: 4) /party remove [playername] will remove someone from the group and island (only the group leader can use this) /party accept will accept if you have an invite from another player. Once you accept you will lose your current island (if you have one) and be teleported to the partys island. You will be unable to make a personal island until you leave the party.
/party makeleader [playername] will make the party member leader of the party and transfer ownership of the island. (group member)/party leave will remove you from the group and take you to spawn area. any items on your character will be removed and destroyed. (group leader)/party leave will disband the group and teleport all other group members off of the island (you will stay on the island and keep control of it)
Dungeons

We have 5 dungeons on the server and more planned to be added soon. Fight your way though a nether-themed dungeon that also has a teleport to the end, find your way through a series of mazes in a pyramid themed dungeon, or escape from a monster infested sky city. If you are tired of being stuck on your island and are up for a challenge and adventure, you can head to the dungeon world for a chance a great loots.
Each dungeon has a chest at the end filled with random loot, including skybucks and a chance for diamonds, gold, and spawn eggs. The harder dungeons can also give you enchanted diamond weapons/tools! The chests are personalized, meaning each person that goes to the dungeon will get their own chest, and will respawn after 1 day.
There are also random chests to loot in the skyblock world (there is a giant island in the middle at 0,0 hint hint hint).
Skybucks
Spoiler:
Use /skybucks to see how many skybucks (the name of the currency used on the server) Every task awards skybucks which you can spend on server perks (higher difficulty = more skybucks). Perks are being added frequently, so use /skybucks buy in game for the most up-to-date list.
Sanconia Access
- 50 skybucks: Sanconia is the giant island in the center of the skyblock world (0,0). Purchase this perk to gain a warp to sanconia (/warp sanconia). Sanconia has a teleport to the dungeon world, a secret chest with loot, and other things will be added soon (including a trade shop)
Veteran title - 600 skybucks: The [Veteran] tag is added to your name and you will gain access to the V.I.P. tower (use the cannon at spawn to get there).
Master title - 1500 skybucks: The [Master] tag is added to your name and you will gain access to the V.I.P tower (more features will be added soon).
Godlike title - 2500 skybucks: The [Godlike] tag is added to your name and you will gain access to the V.I.P. tower (more features will be added soon).
Access the creative world - 700 skybucks: For the times when you want to take a break from skyblocking or test a new design. Use /warp cworld to access and /home to go home. Inventories are kept separate to avoid exploiting. Anyone caught griefing the creative world will have their access removed and possibly banned from the server.
Access the survival world - 200 skybucks: Take a break from skyblocking and enjoy some good old fashioned minecraft survival. The world is set to the hardest difficulty and PvP is on outside of the protected spawn area. Jump down the giant green tunnel in the spawn area to access the survival world after you purchase the perk (or use /warp sworld).
teleportation - 2000 skybucks: use /tpa to teleport to a player, or /tpahere to teleport them to you (they have to accept a request).
Mobcatcher - 700 skybucks: Catch any Animal/Mob with a Egg. Ghasts/Villagers are Disabled.
Note: Any abuse of any of these perks could result in losing that perk or being banned
If you are in a party, skybucks are rewarded to the person who uses the /task [taskname] submit command. It is your responsibility to spread out tasks among the group so that everyone can share in the skybucks!.
SkyGrid
Spoiler:
A new way to survive in the sky, SkyGrid has an endless grid of random blocks which you can use to develop your empire. Join with others using the factions plugin to claim land and battle with others.
Use /warp grid to get to the SkyGrid world!
PvP
Spoiler:
This server uses the "War" plugin to provide a pvp warzone for players to fight eachother in a skyblock themed battle.
Use /pvp to teleport to the warzone lobby.
Use /leave if you are inside the warzone to quit and go back to the lobby.
Use /home to go back to your island.
The objective: board the enemy's flying ship and take their flag (wool) back to your ship. 1 point is awarded each time you capture the flag, or when you kill 20 of the enemy team.
There is a floating island between the two ships and an obsidian obelisk that you can capture which provides healing to your team (place your team's colored wool into the obelisk's hole) The first team to get to 3 points wins the match and will get a small reward.
There are 4 basic classes, press shift while in the spawn to change classes:
Fighter: Strong melee damage, a bow with a small number of arrows, weak armor.
Archer: Weak melee damage, a bow with a stack of arrows, medium armor.
Tank: Weak melee damage, Strong armor, 2 golden apples for healing.
Engineer: Weak melee damage, 10 strong blocks to build barricades, can build dispensers to shoot arrows, weak armor.
Spleef
Spoiler:
This server uses the "War" plugin to provide a spleef arena.
Use /spleef to teleport to the spleef lobby. Use /leave if you are inside the spleef arena to quit and go back to the lobby. Use /home to go back to your island.
The objective: Try to kill the opposing team by destroying the blocks from under their feet.
Each team can have a maximum of 4 people (each team must have at least 2 people for the match to start). Each team gets 4 lives, and if a team runs out of lives the other team gets a point. The first team to win 3 matches gets a special item that they can trade for skybucks.
Donating

If you use the in-game command, you will instantly and automatically get all items/ranks without having to wait for an admin!
You can use pay-pal to donate, or you can pay without a credit card using your mobile phone ( select the Onebip option after you use /donate in game or from the webpage. Certain countries only)!
We are currently renting a dedicated server, and its not cheap! All donations will be used to keep the server running and upgrade services.

You can use the /kit command in game to get these items (except for the skybucks) every 5 days!
Note: Donor perks might change over time (typically to add stuff), if you donated before and see something listed here that you should have but dont, send Talabrek a mail in game.
Server Video Review Contest!

I am looking for some good videos of the server to post on the main page to help new people get a better idea of what to expect. So post your server video review links (from youtube) in the forum thread.
The person with the best video will get a special title (you can pick) and 300 skybucks. They will have their video posted on the main page and get credit for it.
Everyone who posts a video that follows the guidelines will get 25 skybucks!
Your video should show the following:
-Your island and what you have accomplished. Your island doesnt have to be amazing, just show what you have. -Things that are special about the server or that you like (the task system, party system, skybucks and stuff you can buy, pvp, etc). -(Optional) Show the spawn and the stuff you can do there (parkour, vip tower, casino, etc).
Feel free to add whatever you think would make a good video. I will pick the winner 1 or 2 weeks later (depending on how many people post videos) .
